A few tips for comes to camping with dogs

There are a few do’s and don’ts when it comes to camping with dogs so here are a few tips to make your trip more enjoyable.

• Ensure you pack dog bedding as not all locations provide this
• Bring along your pup’s food and a handy travel bowl
• Make sure you have ample poop bags available as all parks will require you to pick up after your pet
• Ensure you have a suitable leash to tether your dog. A lot of the parks we’ve selected have dog fencing around your site and dog runs however your dog will be required to be on leash around the park.

• Don’t be one of those annoying campers with the yappy dog. Ensure you bring along some toys and stimulation to keep your dog entertained and respectful towards other campers.
• Don’t leave your dog unattended. Even campsites with dog fencing around your site will still require you to be in attendance of your dog at all times.
